I cannot handle making amends with you. 
I used to think you were something more, 
But 4 years later and I see that I was wrong.  
The whole time, it goes on and on  
Like a coal mine, digging your nails into  
My skin so soft, so naive,

And our book keeps going like a piece of fiction, 
That I never would believe if I hadn’t written it, 
And now I’m reading through all of your words, 
And I’m left with a truth that’s even more absurd
